On one wall of her office, Gae Veit proudly displays an autographed photo of President Bush and his wife, Laura, who, Veit said, share a "right-leaning" political philosophy with this 62-year-old CEO of Shingobee Builders in Loretto.
On the opposite wall, she has a picture of her brother with pheasants he shot on the reservation where their father was raised as a member of the Crow Creek band of Sioux Indians.
