The owner of a New Rochelle electrical contracting firm faces 15 years in prison and fines of up to $500,000 if convicted on federal tax evasion charges.

In addition, the company, North Star Contracting Corp., lost a long-running $10 million court battle last week against a former employee it had charged with breach of fiduciary responsibility and the theft of trade secrets.
