SEATTLE -- Responding to a suit filed by the Timberland Company, Hampton, N.H., charging trademark infringement, a Washington District Court judge has issued a temporary restraining order for Timberland against the Shoe Pavilion.

The court ordered the discount shoe store chain to stop selling unauthorized women's shoes bearing the Timberland and Tree Design log trademarks.
