Boston isn't just Red Sox Nation these days, but red-meat nation. In case you've missed it, the Hub now seems to have almost as many steakhouses as residents. In recent years, hometown monuments to meat, including Grill 23 and Bar, Capital Grille and the Oak Room in the Fairmont Copley Plaza, have been joined by the out-of-town upstart crowd. The local boys now jostle for position with the likes of steaks from Chicago (Morton's), Kansas City (Plaza III) and New York (Smith & Wollensky).
