Take two passenger ferries. One has room for 500 people, several bars scattered among several levels, four engines, and a crew of seven or eight. The second ferry holds fewer than 150 passengers, has a couple of decks, not nearly the horsepower, and is a little more than half the size of the other boat.

Which one would you choose? A lot of people would go with the bigger boat. They'd see it as having more glamour and dash. They'd like the horsepower and expect it to make more money because of all the passengers it could haul.
