TSA named Aaron Batt as the federal security director at Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) in Bloomington, Ill. Batt previously served as deputy federal security director in Fort Wayne, Ind. Before joining TSA, Batt was a general manager for Globe Aviation Services, the company contracted to provide security screening services at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). He held similar positions at the Indianapolis and Seattle-Tacoma airports. He worked for several air carriers, including American Trans Air and American Eagle [AMR].
