The findings of our global particleboard mill survey, giving location of mills and information about lines and capacities, are again in two parts--Part I for Europe and North America and Part II, the Rest of the World (December/January 2004 issue).
It is interesting to note that there are changes and additions to over 40 of the lines listed, which represents about 17%. And slowly, the gaps in eastern Europe and Turkey are being filled.
When new information is received, it quite often affects the country capacity and regional totals. The impact of new mills and closures on these totals is relatively easy to track but quite often information is received ...
