Johnston's Bruins (6-1, 4-1), ranked fourth in South Hampton Roads, occupy the same spot in the Division 6 power ratings and know a loss to the Braves would damage their playoff hopes severely.
As expected, the defense, with eight returning starters, carried the Bruins early.
