WACO, Texas -- Capgemini Energy LP, a joint venture between Capgemini and TXU, announced today that Atmos Energy has agreed in principle to assume the operations of its Waco Customer Care Center, pending resolution of remaining business matters. The agreement affects approximately 300 employees whose responsibilities included handling customer calls for Atmos Energy.

Capgemini Energy will continue to provide information technology support to Atmos Energy at the Customer Care Center, in addition to other Atmos Energy locations.
