Nov. 10--Drug maker Aventis Pasteur delivered 10,000 doses of influenza vaccine to Gloucester County yesterday, clearing the way for the resumption of flu-shot clinics in the county.
County officials said the drug company had bowed to their legal pressure. Aventis disputed that, saying the shipment was delivered under a federal rationing plan.
"This was a fight well worth fighting for. We knew we were right," Freeholder Director Stephen M. Sweeney said at a news conference at the county health department building in Washington Township.
