Nov. 11--Pizza Hut is attempting to move away from the fast-food concept to a more upmarket segment it calls "casual dining", with more sophisticated offerings in order to differentiate itself from competitors.
Panithan Sethabutr, managing director of Yum Restaurants International (Thailand), the local Pizza Hut operator, said the company was trying to bring a more elegant dining experience to its outlets through a new menu that includes larger portions of pizza, pasta, soup and salad served with a more stylish presentation.
