Just hearing about family-owned business successes warms my heart. I've said many times that it is the unique strength of these particular organizations that make up one of the most integral components of American commerce. Here in greater Los Angeles we have a diverse and eclectic selection of family-run examples to prove that point. I continue to be struck by the longevity and spirited entrepreneurship exhibited by the family businesses in our area.
