Nov. 13--Coming to a Fleet branch near you: Bank of America.
Beginning Monday, the Bank of America name will officially appear on 175 former Fleet branches throughout Connecticut, the first visible sign that Charlotte, N.C.-based Bank of America is ensconced as the state's largest bank.
And although Connecticut customers will get full privileges across Bank of America's 29-state franchise, the crucial merging of Fleet's and Bank of America's computer systems that carry depositor account information won't happen until next summer.
