Morgan Stanley Investment Management has claimed top spot in FT Mandate's listing of underlying asset managers ranked by volume of reported business delegated to them by mult-managers over the last 12 months. Moving Morgan Stanley to first place was a mandate to run E1.5bn in global bonds for Frank Russell's multi-manager platform.
The investment manager replaced Fischer Francis Trees and Watts, taking 42.5 per cent of Russell's GBP2.3bn (E3.4bn) Dublin-based International Bond fund
