Longer Battery Life that Keeps Going, and Going
Six months in the computer industry can contain a lifetime's worth of change. When Computer Shopper looked at 11 20MHz 386SX notebook PCs last March, we considered them to be fine values, offering a high degree of feature-rich performance and carrying economical price tags under $2,000.
But today, those same 20MHz SX notebooks are dinosaurs facing extinction from a more highly evolved species: low-power notebooks using Intel's 25MHz i386SL and Advanced Micro Devices' 25MHz 386SXL processors.
