Four of the Philippines premier national parks Palawans Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park and Tubbataha Reef Marine Park; Mts. Iglit-Baco National Park in Mindoro, and Mt. Apo National Park in Davao Oriental have been cited among the greatest parks in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region.
The four parks, along with 32 World Heritage Sites and Parks are featured in a book titled "ASEANs Greatest Parks: ASEAN Heritage Parks Programme."
