SAN JOSE, Calif. _ They say the camera adds five pounds, but "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" lands with the shuddering thud of a sequel in which everything has been super-sized except the charm of the original.
Looking for love in all the wrong places, Bridget is dropped into pig slop from 20,000 feet, thrown into a Thai prison for drug smuggling and frequently sent hurtling past the edge of reason, right up to the verge of stupidity.
