Nov. 15--Robert Brvenik is ecstatic these days about the future of Prime Retail Inc.
The nation's second-largest operator of outlet shopping centers is back in expansion mode after three years of slumping sales, rising vacancy rates and growing debt.
The company's recent expansion at its Prime Outlets Williamsburg property symbolizes that new growth, he said.
"It shows people that we are alive and well," said Brvenik, president of the Baltimore-based company.
