Nov. 14--Some of them faded long ago, their memories kept alive only in name and old photographs: The Pink House; The Ocean Forest Hotel; The Cozy Corner; and Roma, an Italian restaurant that lingered until recently in a landmark home in the Pine Lakes neighborhood.
But not all of the Grand Strand's longtime eateries have bowed out to make room for new concepts and the influx of national chains rolling in on a wave of neon signs.
