Nov. 16--Waterbury-based LesCare Kitchens Inc. plans to sell its North Carolina operations -- roughly two years after investing millions to launch them -- freeing the company to pursue a deal that would return work to Connecticut, one of its executives said Monday.
Exactly how much Waterbury stands to directly benefit from the moves remains to be seen, said Timothy A. Longino, LesCare's managing director. The company still employs about 30 people, primarily office workers, at its Scott Road building in Waterbury, but does the bulk of its local cabinetry ...
