No effort should be made to ammend VFW bylaws to admit overseas Cold War veterans. Membenhip should be restricted to veterans who have been awarded a campaign medal for a foreign war.

Though I was stationed in Korea (1964-65 and '81-'88) myself, I also did not agree that those who served there should have been eligible based solely on the VFW's 1995 bylaw change. Besides Vietnam, I served in Germany (1970-73) and Greece (1977-78), but I still think eligibility should not be extended to Cold War veterans.
