Nov. 13--OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- The new biomanufacturing program at MiraCosta college will soon enter its second semester even though plans to build a $1 million hands-on classroom are still on hold.
Mike Fino, MiraCosta's new full-time biomanufacturing professor, is teaching MiraCosta's first biomanufacturing course this semester. The course is lecture-based and is the precursor to a hands-on "bioprocessing" class that will be held in the spring semester next year.
