Trips to Yankee Stadium in New York and RFK Stadium in Washington and a visit by the Boston Red Sox are among the highlights of the Cubs' regular-season schedule for 2005.
The Cubs on Tuesday announced their tentative schedule for next season, which begins April 4 at Arizona against the Diamondbacks. The Wrigley Field opener is April 8 against the Milwaukee Brewers.
One unusual twist has the Cubs playing the White Sox early in the season at Wrigley Field. The cross-town rivals will meet on the North Side on May 20-22 and at U.S. Cellular Field June 24-26.
