The Bob Jeffers estate, a parcel of about 350 acres in northern Prior Lake, has long been considered a prize by developers and city leaders.
Now, under a partnership that includes the city, the Prior Lake-Savage school district and private builders, the largest development project in Prior Lake is finally nearing fruition.
"It's been an evolving kind of thing," City Manager Frank Boyles said. "It is challenging... . There are a lot of people with a lot of different interests."
