Car assemblers installed in Brazil are asking the government for the creation of policies directed at the sector's sustainable increase like in the 1990-1997 period, when the industry jumped from 914,000 units to 2.07mil units, increasing by 12.4% per year. After this period the sector faced losses, although it may reach an output of 2mil units in 2004. ...
