ORLANDO, FLORIDA When the 1,500-room Rosen Shingle Creek Resort opens in late 2006, it will be one of the largest full-service convention resorts in Central Florida. Nestled along historic Shingle Creek, headwaters of the Florida Everglades, the 230-acre (93-ha) resort will feature a natural environment that will include a scenic backdrop of dense oaks, cypress and pines. The 14-story resort will feature Spanish Revival architecture with high-carved arches accented by natural, warm earth tones.
