SAN JOSE, Calif. _ Think of MPH, a new car magazine from the publisher of the National Enquirer, as part Maxim and part Car and Driver.
"Is there a magazine speaking to a young guy in his 20s or 30s who is into cars, but doesn't care who Juan Fangio or Dan Gurney is?" asked Eddie Alterman, the 32-year-old editor in chief of MPH (Maximum Performance plus Horsepower).
