Change course or evaporate was the choice facing a Mississippi group that links port industry and industrial development with water management. The group opted not to dry up.
The Mississippi Water Resources Association (WRA), formerly the Rivers and Harbors Association of Mississippi, changed its name to suit its new mission - keeping port authorities and industry on top of key legislation, in line with new regulations and aware of the importance of water management. Prior to the change, work centered mostly on the state's rivers.
