Mayoral candidate Peter Navarro says the Coalition for San Diego Business is a front for Susan Golding's campaign.
Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce President Lee Grissom says the coalition is merely a political outlet for Robert Lichter, who has just ended his two years as president of the downtown interest group San Diegans Inc.
And some say the coalition's connections to mayoral candidates Golding, Ron Roberts and Tom Carter hint the group may be an "anybody but Navarro" campaign.
