Confusion and fatigue combined to undermine Boston University's season-opener before a sold-out crowd of 1,800 yesterday at Case Gym.
Holy Cross capitalized on BU's mental and physical breakdowns with a spirited effort in the second half to pull out an exhausting 58-48 victory. The Crusaders have won two straight season debuts against BU and lead the series 47-12.
