SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts, November 22 /PRNewswire/ -- MassMutual Financial Group today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire -- from ING Group -- the global investment management activities of Baring Asset Management. Under terms of the agreement, MassMutual Holding LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), will purchase Baring Asset Management Limited U.K. (as well as other related subsidiaries).
No financial terms were disclosed, and the closing is subject to applicable regulatory and other approvals.
