OECD raises Czech GDP forecast for this year to 3.9 %

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has upped its estimate for Czech GDP growth to 3.9 % in 2004 from its previous estimate of 3.1 %, according to figures in its newly released Economic Survey of the Czech Republic.

The OECD expects the Czech economy to grow 4.2 % in 2005, up from its 3.4 % growth forecast in June. The growth should slow to 4.1 % in 2006, according to the OECD.
