Nov. 22--When a fancy, cellophane-wrapped gift basket topped with an oversized bow arrives at any workplace -- or better yet, at one's own front door -- who can't wait to peek inside?
Maybe you'll find chocolates, a slice of tiramisu, stuffed olives, a tin of Key lime cookies or other goodies nestled in a basket, metal tin or even a small trunk.
"When you send a gift basket to an office, it's like saying, 'There's the office party. Let's all gather round,'" said Debra Paulk, publisher of the Jacksonville-based trade publication Gift Basket Review.
