The chairman of SkyPix Corp. told increasingly skeptical investors in Northwest Starscan Ltd., the partnership that controls SkyPix Corp., that it's just a matter of weeks before digital receivers are available to retailers, according to two limited partners who attended a briefing last Wednesday.
In addition, sources said SkyPix vice president of sales Steven B. Rand told retailers in an April 24 letter that delays in shipping the satellite receivers had "resulted from the development of important proprietary technology" to be unveiled this week.
