Jakarta, Nov 22 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian government has pledged to grant Rp3 million to the family of each person who perished in the recent earthquake in Alor district, East Nusa Tenggara province, and channel Rp5 million to Rp10 million for the renovation of damaged houses.

Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare Alwi Shihab said on Monday as many as 31 people were killed in the tectonic earthquake that measured 6 on the Richter scale that hit the district in Nov 12.
