Nov. 20--HEY, Y'ALL, BE GLAD OKLAHOMA IS IN THE SOUTH: Whereabouts are y'all when you read this here paper?
The South? The Southwest? The West? The Midwest?
Oklahoma is the South to Oklahomans like me.
Southeast Oklahoma is "Little Dixie" on purpose. Folks came from Dixie, Choctaws and Chickasaws forced west from Mississippi and Alabama in the early 1800s and later Texans and Arkansans.
The lower South. Get off the Indian Nation Turnpike to see.
