The new clamp-control module and linear-positioning module developed by Allen-Bradley Co. Inc. (Milwaukee) are designed to improve hydraulic control of tasks ranging from driving rivets to cutting lumber. Both modules are designed to work in conjunction with Allen-Bradley's PLC-5 programmable logic controllers.
The 1771-QDO/A clamp-control module is used in both open- and closed-loop hydraulic configurations, including gripper controls and hydraulic presses.
