MONTREAL, Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- In the aftermath of the worst brawl in sports history, Internet bookmaker BetUS.com has seen a dramatic increase in wagers placed on Eastern Conference futures.
According to Mike Foreman, spokesperson for BetUS.com, wagers on Miami to win the Eastern Conference have increased ten-fold since the announcement of the Pacers' suspensions was released.
"Since Sunday, we have taken more than 1,200 bets -- ranging from $5 to $10,000 -- on the Heat to win the East," says Foreman. "This represents more NBA future betting than we've seen since opening our doors 12 years ago."
