The clock is ticking for workers at Formica Corp.'s million-square-foot plant in Evendale.
Fresh from a bankruptcy reorganization completed earlier this year, and free from the burden of debts and other obligations it jettisoned, Formica management is focused on growing sales and planning capital investments to regain its leading position in the U.S. market.
President and CEO Frank Riddick said he needs to decide in the coming months where to make those investments. In addition to Evendale, Formica has North American plants near Sacramento, Calif., and Montreal, Quebec.
