Nov. 29--WORKING WITH THAIS: THE JAPANESE VIEW: Last week, I had breakfast with Mr Takeda, a Japanese executive based in Tokyo. After spending seven years in Thailand as part of the founding executive team of a Japanese-Thai joint venture, he was transferred back to Japan two years ago.
Mr Takeda wants to translate my book, Bridging the Gap, into Japanese. Initially, he thought of self-publishing, but I suggested that he talk first with Asia Books, my publisher, and this led to our meeting.
