MEXICO CITY (FNS) -- Mexican apparel and textile businessmen said Wednesday they looked forward to the new commercial challenge posed by a North American Free-Trade Agreement.
"I think that under NAFTA we will have a great opportunity to make our sector come out on top in Mexico," said Alejandro Guerra, owner of the Monterrey-based Corporacion Textil Del Norte SA, which manufactures jeans and other fashion clothes. "We really can be winners under a free-trade accord."
