Nov. 29--WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- When developer Llwyd Ecclestone built The Forum buildings three decades ago, the complex was one of Palm Beach County's signature office addresses.
The Forum helped define Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, luring law firms and other businesses whose employees could walk to a prestigious shopping mall or cut out early to catch a spring training baseball game at the stadium across the street.
"That was the place to be in the '70s," said Peter Reed, a Jupiter real estate broker. "It was like PGA Boulevard now."
