How is this for change of scenery? In early fall, actor Charles Keating was in the Netherlands filming "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo," Rob Schneider's loopy movie sequel in which Keating plays a male prostitute.
"My purpose was to come in, all tarted up, and die," he said.
After wrapping that film, Keating flew to Minneapolis for rehearsals of a holiday staple. He dons dreary duds as Scrooge, Charles Dickens' crabby killjoy, when a "A Christmas Carol" opens today at the Guthrie Theater.
