NEW YORK- A formulation of light, clean notes that reflect the Nineties mindset, combined with a strong designer cachet, has allowed Herrera for Men to garner above-plan sales without an overdose of fanfare.
"You're not going to get a free helicopter with your purchase of Herrera perfume," said Dr. Fernando Aleu, president of Compar, Inc., which distributes Carolina Herrera's men's and women's fragrances. "Some of these promotions really devalue of product. We've been able to do well without a big splashy introduction or any overblown promotions."
