LINCOLN, Neb. -- Bobby Purify was just about the last player to emerge from the Colorado locker room Friday, and it wasn't because the senior tailback was inside celebrating his 1,000-yard season, or topping 3,000 yards for his career.
About all that mattered to him was coming out somewhat healthy and savoring a 26-20 victory against Nebraska before 77,661 at Memorial Stadium.
"I can't say enough good things about Bobby," quarterback Joel Klatt said. "He's a competitor. He's a guy everybody would want on a team. He's a team player. He plays hard. He does the right things on and off the field."
