The Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) has named Barton Malow the recipient of its 2004 Construction Industry Safety Excellence Award for builders with 2,000,000-plus hours of work. Barton Malow was the only firm to qualify in this category. CURT's membership, construction and engineering executives of global corporations, examined Barton Malow's safety record, corporate program and practices on three representative projects. Presentation took place on the evening of November 8, in Rancho Mirage, Calif., as part of CURT's annual conference.
