Young women of Asia and the Pacific region made their voices heard once again at the HLM in Bangkok, Thailand.
Since the 1995 Beijing Conference, young women have been advocating for issues in conjunction with the older generation's concerns as we see the youth's involvement in education, employment and health services. However, the changing times have also influenced the climate of concern for the younger generation as they make a definitive move towards raising their issues, specifically on sexual and reproductive rights, also focussing on HIV/AIDS.
