Bradley G. Bond put together Mississippi: A Documentary. History for use in the college classroom. Since Richard Aubrey McLemore's two-volume A History of Mississippi (Hattiesburg, Miss., 1973) is out of print, many instructors have resorted to employing several volumes that cover specific periods or aspects of the state's history.
