Frantz Leander Hansen's book, The Aristocratic Universe of Karen Blixen, is enjoyable to read. Even though a number of the points made about the aristocratic mode of life versus the bourgeois are familiar from other sources, it is nonetheless pleasant to find these ideas presented cogently and articulately in a single argument.
