Jewelry is in his blood. How could it be otherwise for this third-generation jeweler who grew up in Taxco, the heart of Mexico's silver-producing region? "I designed my first piece when I was 17, and I was hooked," muses Daniel Espinosa. To perfect his craft, the young man traveled to Europe to study art history and fashion trends, then to New York to learn the business of marketing jewelry. After working for other companies, Espinosa presented a collection under his own name in Mexico in 1997.
